Leadership Paper: Examination of Leadership models and Women in Leadership
As explained in the paper, leadership models influence how diversity functions in the LIS profession. Using my identity of being a woman, this paper explained how my future in the LIS profession will be affected by leadership models. The leadership models that are used are different for each leader, while some are stereotyped as being more feminine. The stereotypes that are placed on different leadership styles guides how people are treated in the LIS profession. Gender stereotypes have the ability to impact how diversity is implemented into the profession, as shown in the paper.
